CFE Achieves a New Milestone in South Asia Market Expansion with Strategic Partnership Agreement (UN Certified)

2026 01/21

CFE recently welcomed a well-established renewable energy group from South Asia to its headquarters for a site visit and in-depth business exchange. The delegation was received by Dr. HuanTong Tang (Chairman of CFE), with Dr. Jinsheng Wang (Head of the TST team) joining the meeting. Both sides discussed the local power supply-demand situation, typical energy storage use cases, and practical cooperation models, and reached multiple agreements on mid- to long-term collaboration in the region.

Joint Discussions: Power Demand, Storage Applications, and Cooperation Approach

During the visit, the two teams exchanged views on key topics relevant to South Asia’s energy transition, including:
grid stability needs and peak demand challenges
typical energy storage deployment scenarios, such as residential backup, commercial load management, and industrial power support
local project execution requirements, including service response, commissioning support, and long-term operation planning
These discussions helped both sides align on a realistic market-entry and scaling strategy based on measurable project outcomes.
Strategic Cooperation: Agency Agreement and Three-Year Plan
Following the meeting, the two parties formally signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement and Agency/Distribution Agreement, and confirmed a three-year roadmap. The plan will focus on two parallel directions:
1. Residential Energy Storage Distribution
Developing a structured distribution channel for home energy storage products, including localized configuration recommendations and after-sales coordination.
2. Commercial & Industrial (C&I) ESS Projects and Power Station Investment
Advancing C&I energy storage projects through pilot demonstrations, and gradually expanding into larger-scale deployments and investment-driven project models.
Both sides will work toward building a stronger local channel network, establishing localized technical and service capabilities, and improving CFE’s brand presence across the South Asia market.

Roles and Commitment
As a global provider of lithium-ion battery and energy storage solutions, CFE will continue to deliver multi-scenario ESS products and system solutions for residential and C&I applications. CFE will also provide full lifecycle technical support, including system design guidance, commissioning support, and project experience sharing.
The local partner will leverage its market understanding and channel resources to accelerate the deployment of high-reliability energy storage solutions across South Asia, supporting regional power infrastructure development and energy transition goals.
CFE’s selected products are UN certified, supporting common compliance requirements for international transportation and overseas project delivery.

Looking Ahead
This visit and signing represent a new stage of progress in CFE’s South Asia market strategy. CFE will continue to focus on delivering reliable products and practical engineering support, working with global partners to promote safer, more efficient, and cleaner energy systems.
